It’s more than a mantra — it’s the heartbeat of the Coogee Run Club. And now… it’s on a hoodie.

Our latest merch captures everything we’re about — the kilometres we log, the ocean we dive into, the coffees we share after. It’s community stitched into every thread — right from its design.

Earlier this year, we put it to the people: help us design a hoodie that captures the spirit of the Coogee Run Club.

And the people delivered. We were overwhelmed with more than two dozen crazily creative submissions and the competition was tough, but one design stood out from the rest.

Paul Allen’s. As one of our many Irish expats [pic of Paul with his partner Aine], the 30-year-old has been in Australia for the last three years and has found a home within our community.

“I’ve been with the Coogee Run Club since January 2024 and I’ve absolutely loved being involved. The Coogee Run club to me is a community where you always feel welcome! It’s a great place to meet friends, and an excuse to go for a run! Running is something I always rely on during a tough day. Hail, rain, or sunshine, it always makes me feel better!

“I can usually be found on a Tuesday night trailing up the hills in Coogee with the club! I’m not a designer, but love creating things, and I wanted to capture the Coogee waves and a cup of coffee on the hoodie, with a little bit running in between!”
